A Checklist for Clearer Project Presentations

A persuasive project presentation is not a collection of polished images. It is a short explanation of why a place is organised the way it is and how the proposal responds to its setting.

Begin with the place

Show the site, its neighbours and the main constraints before the final render. A simple map and a few photographs give reviewers a shared starting point.

Explain the sequence

Walk through arrival, entry, movement and the principal shared spaces. Use plans and sections to answer questions that a perspective image cannot, including levels, shade and accessibility.

Make the trade-offs visible

State which options were considered and what each would have changed. Clear reasoning builds confidence, even when the design still has open questions.
